 The national award-winning Black Voices in Cabaret highlights Black entert
 ainers in the world of Cabaret\, both past and present. Cabaret is the pla
 ce where audience comes face to face with dancers\, spoken-word artists\, 
 gender-fluid entertainers\, musicians\, magicians\, variety artists\, and 
 singers. Cabaret embraces all entertainment genres\, such as Rhythm and Bl
 ues\, Spoken Word\, Soul\, Gospel\, Jazz\, Classical song\, and more.\n\n\
 n\nWe provide a Black lens into Cabaret and the world of entertainment by 
 raising the recognition afforded African-American cabaret performers. brin
 ging their performances to communities in the Chicago area and beyond\, an
 d engaging with audiences through intimate performances\, seminars\, and e
