 n\n\n\nJoin award-winning soprano and voice teacher Christine Steyer for a
  fun-filled session on maintaining a healthy singing voice. We will&nbsp\;
 explore body parts involved in producing a powerful and nuanced sound.&nbs
 p\;All attendees will participate in group and individual singing as each 
 concept is presented:&nbsp\;\n\n\n\n\ndiaphragmatic vs chest breathing\n\n
 \n\nactivating pelvic floor\n\n\n\nthe&nbsp\;intercostal muscles\n\n\n\ngo
 od posture\n\n\n\nclear vowels for vocal production\n\n\n\narticulating co
 nsonants\n\n\n\ncorrect singing while sitting\n\n\n\n\nA playlist of perfo
 rmances by great singers will be sent in advance to view.&nbsp\;Singers sh
 ould be prepared to sing a portion of a lyrical and an upbeat song.\n\n\n\
 nHow DO they do that?&nbsp\;Let's find out together.\n\n\n\nCost $45 - 
 Limited to 12 performers\n\n\n\nA small number of scholarships are availab
 le.\n\n\n\nAuditors: $25&nbsp\;(Auditors participate in&nbsp\;group&nbsp\;
 singing only if desired).&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nLocation in River Forest easily ac
