 n\n\n\nCabaret Connexion participants are showcasing the work of our fourt
 h international exchange of French and US performers. Be regaled with song
 s from American songbook\, French chanson\, jazz\, blues\, comedy and more
 .\n\n\n\nThe show at the DePaul Recital Hall begins at 2:30 PM with a live
 stream\, direct from Paris\, by pianist Jean-Claude Orfali of Cabaret Lapi
 n Agile. A dozen singers will then come onto the stage for live performanc
 e at 3 PM.\n\n\n\nWe are thrilled to have Dale Calandra as our creative di
 rector and Howie Pfeifer as music director.\n\n\n\nDale has directed over 
 100 productions\, is founder of Center Theater Ensemble\, was creative dir
 ector of The Training Center\, Chicago’s top acting school for twenty ye
 ars. As actor\, he was nominated for a Jeff Best Actor as Charlie in The W
 hale (Victory Gardens)\, and played Edna in Hairspray in the first nationa
 l Broadway Tour.\n\n\n\nHoward Pfeifer has worked extensively in Chicago a
 nd Los Angeles as a pianist\, composer\, arranger\, and musical director. 
 Among the performers he has worked with are Shawn Kolvin\, Patti LaBelle\,
  Vonda Shepard\, Johnny Cash\, BB King\, Johnny Frigo\, Karen Carpenter\, 
 Aretha Franklin\, Jim Brickman\, Shari Lewis\, Mel Torme\, Dom DeLuise\, a
 nd Marie Osmond.\n\n\n\n(If you’re a singer wishing to participate\, vis
