We will take you “from roots to wings, where we come from and where we soar.” Carolyn, Tirzah, Joyce, Sonia, Lou Ella, Julia and Molly and Barbara – all fantastic singers – will take you on a musical journey. With solos, duets and trios, they will explore musical genres, tempos and themes that will delight and entertain at Davenport’s Cabaret.

May 9-18, 2025 – Chicago Cabaret Week. The citywide festival takes place from Park Forest to Evanston
May 10, 2025 – Black Voices In Cabaret joins Chicago Cabaret Week at Freedom Hall in Park Forest
May 13, 2025 — Our Chicago Cabaret Week offering is “From Chicago to Paris with Love” coming to Rockwell on the River. Claudia Hommel emcees and sings with a large cast of friends, including Anne Burnell, Christine Steyer, Carl Ratner, Jonathan Lewis, Patricia Mosley, Lauren Lassen, Gaye Klopack, Ava Logan, Elisabeth Howard, Ren Perez, Cécile Savage, Randolph Johnson, John S. Green, Susan Arjmand, Rosalind Hurwitz, and Rae-Myra Hilliard. Bobby Schiff and Peter Storms will be at the keys and Sam Hyson will hoist his violin and accordion!
May 17, 2025 — Black Voices in Cabaret brings an additional show to the Haven in Bronzeville, with a different cast of characters!

October 23–November 6, 2025 — The 7th Chicago Paris Cabaret Connexion goes to France to start with three days in Lyon, 8 days in Paris and an optional journey to Josephine Baker’s Chateau
