Connexion Fan Club Goes to France

Connexion Fan Club Goes to France

Famliy, Friends and Fans, you love the music but are not a singer yourself? Join the Cabaret Connexion FAN CLUB as we travel with our singers to Paris!

YES, come with us for access to nightly performances and daytime tourism activities specially crafted for you.

In Paris, your Fan Club membership fee of $250 gives you entry to every Cabaret Connexion event (concerts, jam sessions, walking tour, Josephine Baker musical—10 events all told). Plus you can participate in our daytime itinerary as much or as little as you choose. The daily tourism excursions are à la carte, some being free of charge. Our volunteer organizers (led by David Reithoffer) will help guide you, including the best way to use Paris’ amazing public transportation system.

The FIAP Jean Monnet conference center in the 14th arrondissement (30 Rue Cabanis, 75014 Paris) will be the epicenter for our activities. This is where more than 30 US and international singers will be staying and sharing daytime workshops with a dozen of their French counterparts. As co-travelers, you benefit from the group-discount room rate for your stay at FIAP. The café/lobby will be our meeting point for departures of the daily excursions, and the restaurant serves delicious meals all day.

Come enjoy Paris with people who know and love it!

Details for Paris AND trips to Lyon and Dordogne are posted at  cabaretconnexion.org/calendar#fanclub

LYON, October 22-October 25, 2025 — The fee of $500 covers lodging for 4 nights at the 4-star Collège Hotel in Vieux Lyon and 3 Connexion concerts. The high-speed 2-hour train from Paris is approximately $80-$120 round trip. Lyon is the gastronomic capital of France so expect our evening group dinners to be sublime. For performers, the conference participation fee of $300 covers 5 workshops, 2 round tables, and singing in concert.

PARIS, October 26-November 2, 2025 — The fee of $250 covers five Connexion concerts, open mics, a singing tour of Montmartre, lunchtime round table discussions, and attending the smash musical “Josephine Baker” on Sunday, November 2. Our volunteer ambassadors have devised a list of optional daytime activities and will be on hand to help you get around. We recommend staying with us at FIAP Jean Monnet conference center. Our group rate is about $96 per night for a single room, $67 per person sharing a two-twin-bed room. Breakfast is included. The restaurant and snack bar are ample. The location is convenient to many sites and transit lines.

DORDOGNE, November 3-5, 2025 — We have the unique opportunity to sing at and visit Jospehine Baker’s chateau, escorted by her son Akio Bouillon Baker. Our chauffeur Pascal will take us on an idyllic tour of the countryside, the cliffside villages including the historic La Roque-Saint Christophe, and a visit with Akio to his town of Saint Cyprien. We’ll stay at the Domaine de la Rhonie, feted by the owners Emmanuelle and Mickael with local cuisine of paté and duck confit (the vegetarian sèpe mushroom omelette is sublime). The all-inclusive fee of $810 covers 4-hour train ride from and to Paris, our bus, double occupancy lodging, museum entries, and all meals.
