The Festival kicks off on August 31 with a Cabaret Fantaisie du Cirque (Circus Fantasy Cabaret) at Les Deux pianos in the 15th arrondissement.
The clowns arrive: Clovis the musicopath and his partner Patrick Pernet, Anne Fromm and her Weill Circus (the Brechtian music of Kurt Weill), and Paulus the Cabaret Geek, direct from London. Claudia Hommel and Michèle Barbier are co-hosts.
La “Chicago Paris Cabaret Connexion” a été créée en 2017 par une chanteuse de cabaret américaine, Claudia Hommel, née à Paris. Elle a pour but d’encourager les échanges d’artistes entre nos deux continents, pour dynamiser, enrichir et mettre en lumière le cabaret artistique. Depuis sa création, la CPCC a déjà organisé deux échanges à Chicago et deux rencontres à Paris.
Cette année nous avons créé l’association Cabaret Connexion pour organiser à Paris le 1er Festival Cabaret. Bienvenue !
