Our award-winning opera is live for the first time! Come see the Roosevelt University Chicago College of Performing Arts production up close and personal at OperaFest XV.

On Call: COVID-19, a one-hour opera honoring the healthcare workers who braved harrowing days of the pandemic, had its online premiere in April 2021. It has since won awards from the National Opera Association and The American Prize.

2:00 PM : Clarice Assad/Lila Palmer: The Selfish Giant (world premiere)

3:00 PM : Jake Heggie/Gene Scheer: Two Remain (Act I)

4:00 PM : Milton Granger: Bluebeard’s Waiting Room

5:00 PM : David Shenton/Christine Steyer: On Call: COVID-19

These performances are free and open to the public. However, seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Non-Roosevelt guests must pre-register at least 24-hours in advance to be added to the guest list.
