As secretary of the board, Cappy is the go-to person for fund-raising, outreach and logistics for Working In Concert. Cappy is principal of Informed Energy Decisions, an environmental services and engineering consulting firm. As a certified energy manager and independent consultant, he advises commercial and institutional building owners and managers, including supervising LED lighting retrofitting. In recognition of his contributions to improving building energy performance, he was inducted into the Environmental Hall of Fame and received an Energy Star leadership award for work at the Great Lakes Naval Training.
